Two Nights with Andy Brown at Cedar Tree Cafe

These were some of Brown’s last few shows before heading back to Australia for the third time this year.

Brown played two nights at the Cedar Tree Cafe Oct. 11 and Oct. 12, both to sold out crowds. It seemed like every audience member knew the words to Brown’s songs, and many didn’t hesitate getting up to dance.

Brown played nearly every song from his latest album, Tinman, which was released in April 2013. The album features collaborations with some of Canada’s most renowned artists such as Jenn Grant, David Myles, John-Angus MacDonald (The Trews), Damhnait Doyle, Tim Chaisson, among others.

Tinman has just been nominated for three 2013 Music NB nominations including Solo Recording of the Year, SOCAN Song of the Year and Pop Recording of the Year.

One day after Brown showcases at the awards in Saint John, he’ll return down under to support past Australian Idol, Damien Leith on his album release tour.
